I consider each child's interests, follow their lead, and support language through those activities. Children are more engaged when they are doing something motivating and important to them. That often means play! This also means I strive to use neurodiversity affirming practices.

Caregiver Coaching

During sessions, I train parents and caregivers with practical strategies that can be used during the week. We can make the most of every opportunity during everyday routines to support your loved one's communication skills. This often leads to faster progress.

Natural Environment

I offer visits in the home and community settings (schools, parks, libraries etc.).  We could even meet at the grocery store! This allows us to work on meaningful language skills during real-life experiences.

Tree Lined Path

1

Free Phone Consultation

During this phone call, we can discuss your concerns and decide if an evaluation is the right next step. I would love to connect with you to answer any questions. I want you to find the right resources and/or therapy for your family. I'm here to help and there's no obligation.

2

Evaluation

Evaluations typically last 1-2 hours in the family's home. I use an assessment tool, parent/caregiver interview, and clinical observations. After the assessment is complete, I will go over the results and recommendations with you.

3

Therapy visits

We develop a treatment plan together based on your priorities and the evaluation results.  Frequency of sessions vary depending on the individual's needs. I welcome parents and caregivers to be involved as much as possible.

Meet Stephanie

The moment a parent and their child are able to connect and communicate better together, I get a deep sense of fulfillment and gratitude.  As a speech therapist for over 7 years, I've had the joy of working with many families through early childhood intervention programs and private practice.

I'm an ASHA certified Bilingual Spanish/English Speech Language Pathologist licensed in the state of Texas. I earned my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a bilingual specialization from Marquette University.

I am certified in Hanen It Takes Two to Talk. I am also trained in Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) through Meaningful Speech.

In my free time, I love to travel with my husband, sip on good coffee, and go hiking with our dogs.
